Outdoor Education
During the school year we host groups that are looking for experiential education opportunities for their participants. Camp Yowochas outdoor programs are focused on outdoor education, team building, experiential education, leadership development, environmental education, and outdoor recreation.
Our trained facilitators ensure that all of our programs develop self esteem, build friendships, foster appreciation for the natural world, promote character and value development, and are incredibly fun! It is our mission to teach our campers respect for themselves, others, and the environment. Every group that comes to Camp Yowochas gets a custom built itinerary that focuses on their desired goals and outcomes for their trip.

AIR QUALITY at CAMP YOWOCHAS
The safety and well-being of our campers, staff and visitors is our top priority. Starting this summer, Camp Yowochas will have an onsite air quality monitor to provide real-time conditions specific to our location. This allows us to make informed decisions quickly and accurately.
We monitor the Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) and adjust programming as needed. During periods of poor air quality, we modify activities to focus on low-exertion or indoor options.
While we do not cancel bookings due to air quality, we will work closely with groups to accommodate and reschedule if possible. Refunds are not provided for cancellations made due to air quality concerns.
We’re committed to providing a safe and memorable camp experience regardless of weather conditions. Please read our Air Quality Policy to learn more.
