Each registration requires a $50 non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit. Registration is exclusively online, and we accept payments via Visa and MasterCard. Please be aware that prices do not include GST.

We look forward to welcoming many of you and your campers throughout the year! We can’t wait to see those familiar faces.
Important policy updates
In light of the disruptions caused by forest fires last year, we’re updating our booking agreement and air quality policy, effective immediately. These changes are intended to offer more flexibility and clarity moving forward.
Updated Booking Agreement:
Original Policy: A full refund of the deposit, minus a $50 administrative fee, is available if a cancellation occurs with 60 or more days’ notice. There is no refund for cancellations made less than 60 days in advance.
New Addition to Policy: In the event of unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters or wildfires, we will hold deposits for rebooking within the same calendar year. If a group does not rebook within the year, the deposit will be forfeited.
Air Quality Policy:
We continuously monitor local air quality. Although our rural location often enjoys better conditions than Edmonton, we take precautionary measures when the air quality index exceeds 7:
- We modify high-intensity activities to less strenuous ones.
- Activities may be moved indoors (e.g., indoor lunches) to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants
Our staff is prepared to accommodate anyone needing indoor respite, and we are particularly vigilant about campers with respiratory conditions.
Please note, there is no air quality measuring station directly at Camp Yowochas. We typically refer to the Genesee station to the south and use the St. Albert station for cross-reference. We encourage schools and groups to contact us directly for the most accurate local air quality updates.
For any inquiries about these policies, please email yowochas@ywcaedm.org. We appreciate your understanding and continued support. We look forward to a safe and enjoyable year at Camp Yowochas.
